Apply for an import permit for animal by-products or animals

You need an authorisation for the import, transit and, in individual cases, intra-Community movements of animals, animal by-products and animal products as well as goods that may be carriers of infectious agents.

This does not apply to animals and goods originating in a third country for which no authorisation is required and which are accompanied by a certificate.

An authorisation may not be granted if there is a risk of spreading animal diseases.
