Show use of pyrotechnic effects on tours
If you wish to use pyrotechnic effects on tour in the presence of visitors, you must notify the competent authority in writing.
Responsible authority
The municipal/city administration of the place of burning as the local police authority.

Prerequisite
Written notification is required if you
- want to use pyrotechnic effects outside the premises of your branch or
- do not have a branch and wish to use pyrotechnic effects on tour.
Procedure
Depending on what the competent authority offers, you may be provided with a form or an online process. If the authority does not require a form, you can also submit the report informally.
Deadlines
At least two weeks before the planned date of the event.
Required documents
For effects with pyrotechnic articles of categories F3, F4, T2, P2 and pyrotechnic sets of category S2:
- valid authorisation for the commercial purchase and handling of pyrotechnic articles of the corresponding categories (fireworks) (§ 7 SprengG) or
- valid licence for the commercial handling and circulation of pyrotechnic articles of the corresponding categories (fireworks) (§ 20 SprengG)
Note: The notification is also required for effects with pyrotechnic articles of categories F1, F2, T1, P1 and pyrotechnic sets of category S1.
